Thunder Bay
Located on the Lake Superior’s northern shore, Thunder Bay has long been the transportation gateway between the Great Lakes and the Canadian plains. On the north side of the city’s entertainment district and Marina Park, while the south side is dominated by Fort William Historical Park. Here you’ll find reenactments of life in the early 1800s in dozens of historic buildings filled with the muskets, pelts and birch-bark canoes of French voyageurs, Scottish settlers and native Ojibwe.
