Huntington
Huntington, West Virginia, sits at the confluence of the Guyandotte River and the Ohio River. The state's second largest city and home to Marshall University, it's often referred to as one of the northernmost cities in the South or one of the southernmost cities in the North. The city has a wealth of historic architecture, everything from Gothic to Art Deco, Classical to Craftsman, much of which can be found in the Downtown and Ritter Park Historic districts. Don't miss Camden Park, one of the world's oldest amusement parks.
