    Crowded and dated room.

If you love hoards of people, lines and overpriced food and shopping, this is the place for you. Waikiki beach is man made and not very nice for starters. The main pool here is very crowded and the adult pool is shaded the majority of the day. Our room in the Kailia Tower was very shabby. Stained carpets, beat up furniture and lumpy beds. AC wasnt working and when maintenance opened up unit, the filter was clogged with 1" of lint. Gross. This is not what you would normally expect from a Hilton property. I was staying with someone for free, but would have been extremely disappointed if I were paying these prices for this place.I will add that the staff is very nice.

Mother’s Day Weekend 5 night trip

Recently visited Hilton Hawaii village from May 12 to 17 We were in the Tappa tower room 431 and had an absolute fantastic stay The hotel is very well maintained, and the staff is very friendly at all the hotel restaurants, bell desk, front desk and house keeping We are daily lunch tappa bar and breakfast tropics. Staff is what makes each location special as they always went out of their way to help my family ensure a great experience. The spa is in the kalia tower - unfortunately no steam room or amenities available. The property is walking distance of a short drive from many key locations you will want to visit.

Didn’t get the room we reserved; maybe it would have been nicer or cleaner or more accommodating. We were there for a week and couldn’t wait to leave. Everything so expensive and with the room rates plus all the extra fees and taxes, you would have thought they could do better than $70/ night parking fees for guests. Sad thing is we figured this would be a one time vacation so wanted to do it right. Never again. Oh and thanks for the bed bugs. Told you it was dirty

    Kalia Tower Overdue for Refurbishment

We stayed in the Kalia tower. It is definitely in need of refurbishment. The elevator going up to 20th floor was out of order. The room looked very worn and outdated. They stated about $200 pee night, but by the time they added all the hidden charges we ended up paying nearly $600 for one night.

Our 25th Wedding Anniversary visit to Honolulu , Diamond members

We stayed at the Rainbow Tower in a corner room. Our initial thoughts were the hotel had not been updated recently. While the location was excellent, the amenities had not been kept up with current trends in the industry. We visited many other lobbies in the area and these competing properties were very nice and updated and gave you a luxury feel that you did not get at the Hilton. I felt with a little bit of effort, this property could easily stay up to date with its facilities but had not spent the capital to do so. I will say we received great treatment while we were there. The cleaning staff was great, our room was cleaned daily (which is refreshing nowadays). We did like walking around the resort browsing the shops within walking distance. We felt like the location was excellent. However, we did not know until we left that there was a shuttle to and from the airport which would have saved us some Uber charges. The fireworks show on Friday night was a nice touch and overall we enjoyed our time although may seek other options if we visit again.
