Such a wonderful experience for our son's wedding
To start off, we have been to caribbean close to 30 times. This is our first time to Cancun. All the rest have been the resorts with lots of acreage and huge grounds. This was probably in the top three spots, Hotel Xcaret being number One. We like the highrise that everything was so close....beach, rooms, restaurants. The service was unbelievable. Aaron, was super, super. Had chairs set out for us everyday at the beach, and was so friendly and talkative. There were 20 of us for a wedding, from all across Canada, and we had a fantastic time. My brother and his wife stayed at the preferred side. They said there was absolutely no advantage to it, so a waste of money if you are paying extra for better service, etc. We ate at three a la cartes, (Mexican, Asian, Steak house) I really don't know what type of people go and say that the food is not great. WE ALL thought the food was GREAT. Some people just like to complain just to hear themselves heard. Even on the beach, servers would not only come around for drink orders often, but some would randomly come around with plates of food, to give out. I really can't say enough good about this place. Our room was on the first floor with balcony, but not a great view of beach. No big deal, as our room was hugh with two large TV's, couch, chairs, and table and chairs. The only not so great thing I could say, was the pools were kind of cold, and towels were not always changed in our room, so we did run short sometimes. Keep up the good work Dreams Sands!!
First dreams experience
Beach and the outside are the best amenities. Lobby level looks nice and is updated. Rooms are nothing special l, and food always was cold and tasted like cafeteria from the buffets. The Restaurant’s were overly salty and still cold when served. Kind of unfortunate on the food but the beach is the best around in Cancun.
It was fantastic stay. The entertainment crew was amazingly entertaining and hard working. Tino was friendly and helpful. We especially thank him. The service was excellent. The only thing was that we had to go. Next time we will surely come for longer stay. Dream sand resort is the best.
Dream Sands is the best Resort in all of Mexico
Dream sands is more than I could have ever asked for! My wife and our friends had such an amazing time! Customer service was a 10/10 and the beach was the most beautiful and cleanest beach I’ve ever seen!
Top Notch Service at Dreams Sands!
The service and attentiveness of the workers at Dreams Sands is absolutely impeccable. There are so many things I’d like to write but I need to highlight the workers here. The lobby bartender, Eulogio, made sure our drinks were always full and kept us right. We got the preferred members upgrade and grateful we did because the regular beach/pool chair area was always full and people were consistently hogging the chairs compared to the preferred side where the attendants helped us find lounge chairs and accommodated our large group. The preferred waiters at the beach, Edit and Janet, made sure we always had a drink in hand. There was always multiple events going on at Dreams Sands, but we especially enjoyed our time with Leilani and her crew playing volleyball and loteria - they were so nice and fun to hang out with! Lastly I have to give it up to Himitsu’s waiter and hibachi chef, Alexander and Carlos, we ordered so much food to the point where we were for sure annoying but they did it with a big smile on their face and even surprised our friend with a happy birthday cake :) to wrap up this novel, my friends, husband and I want to say a big thank you to the Dreams Sands employees for taking care of us this weekend!
