I must admit that my recent experience at Hilton Waikiki Beach has left me deeply disappointed, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. I was a guest at your hotel with a group of friends from September 7th to September 13th, 2023. To begin, our stay got off to a rocky start when we realized that the hotel room clean-up, as per our reservation, was supposed to occur every 4th day. However, it wasn't until the 5th day that the housekeeping staff showed up. We had to call and complain multiple times before our room was finally serviced. This lapse in service significantly affected our overall experience. Moreover, we encountered issues with our room. The shower door was broken, and despite reporting it to the front desk staff on three separate occasions, and providing them with the correct room number and my name's correct spelling, it took a full 48 hours for the issue to be resolved. This delay in addressing a basic maintenance problem was frustrating and unacceptable. Furthermore, I organized this trip for my 40th birthday and reserved a total of 11 rooms at Hilton Waikiki Beach. I was disheartened to learn that the overall service across the board was subpar for all 11 rooms. Three additional rooms were part of my party but booked through a different travel agent, and they too experienced similar issues. One of the most disappointing aspects of our trip was the "Beauty and the Feast" tour we booked with your concierge, Tim Bernard. Our voucher number was 271027-1. This tour, which was meant to be a highlight of our celebration, turned out to be one of the top three most horrible experiences in my life. The tour vehicle provided was old, poorly-maintained, and far from the high-quality experience promised. I was promised a Mercedes Benz passenger van. One of the ones that was advertised in the brochure that Tim proudly displayed when he sold me on the package and said all sales final! The journey was uncomfortable, with noticeable issues such as faulty shocks on the back wheels, and the back section of the van was unbearably hot. Additionally, the tour failed to deliver on the promised opportunity to dive from a waterfall, as advertised in your promotional materials. We were informed that the suitable location was a considerable 20-minute drive away, significantly deviating from our intended path. This entire situation has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I believe it is crucial for Hilton to address these issues promptly. False advertising and poor service tarnish the reputation of your establishment. I kindly request that you take immediate action to investigate these matters and provide a satisfactory resolution. I hope that we can find a mutually agreeable solution that restores my faith in Hilton's commitment to exceptional customer service.

No pool as advertised as was closed for maintenance ! No compensation offered 😡 Be prepared for lots of hidden charges on top of what you pay for the room ! Do not dine at the Hotel restaurant as the food is disgusting ! Not normally one to complain or post bad reviews but seriously would never return to this hotel or recommend to anyone !

Regular guest at this location...multiple trips have been excellent...hotel provides beach chairs and surf boards...good meal service with an excellent Moco Loco...Starbucks coffee in the lobby...good location to beach.

I expect better from a Hilton property!
Outdated to say the least. The rooms could use a good cleaning and dusting. The flooring in the rooms consist of the outdoor type carpet (rubbery). Housekeeping service actually occurs on your 5th day of stay. It consists of fresh towels and wiping down the bathroom. I am a Diamond member I was embarrassed to tell the friends we met-on the excursion that we were staying at this Hilton as opposed to the Marriott across the street (updated). Some of the linen needed to be tossed due to overuse. The lobby is the most updated. The temporary swimming pool is a joke (its a kiddie pool)! New pool is under construction. The only restaurant -staff was great (no issues there). The food in the restaurant was good. The hotel is within walking distance to the Beach and shopping.

Great Beach Hotel, Friendly Staff
My husband and I had a very good stay at this property this summer and what really made it fantastic was the staff! I've stayed at every Hilton property in Waikiki and the employees here are by far the best, most helpful and really know how to treat their guests. I have stayed here twice and this has been the case both times. There were two outstanding employees that went above and beyond, one was Dexter at the front desk who patiently helped me sort out my complicated reservation and billing with grace and patience. The second was Mona our server in the restaurant who really showed personal interest in us and was wealth of information that proved worthwhile. Every employee was outstanding but I can't remeber all of thier names! Oh and one more shout out to the barista who remembered my drink order everyday! Our room was a 24th floor oceanview and we were very comfortable and slept well. The view was awesome but we really couldn't enjoy the lanai or have our slider open due to people smoking on on their lanais at all hours morning and evening even though it is plainly stated not to do it. Not the Hotels fault that people feel entitled on vacation.The restaurant food is very good and we enjoyed every meal especially the breakfasts! Also a very short walk to Kuhio beach and all the best food which we enjoyed very much! Didn't care at all the pool was under construction because it was great weather for the beach and happened to be the week of Dukes festival with several really awesome events and many freebees to boot! Hope to return again in the future.
