Our stay at Meliá was great! Beautiful views, very friendly staff, and the hot tub is a must. The only thing we had an issue with was pulling out cash at the hotel ATM. It never worked any times we tried and made it difficult to acquire cash at a destination that typically cash-only. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay.
Excellent service and team
Excellent experience. Friendly and professional staff. Beyond the turquoise waters and the unmatched scenery, the whole team made us feel at home. From the night shows, the magician, Miguel, Danny, Humberto, Ana, Jorge and everyone else in the restaurants. Can't wait to come back again and relieve the experience
Melia Cozumel is a great deal
We have been to this resort five times and always enjoy our stay. The oceanfront tower rooms with The Level perks are great (clean and comfortable beds). The all inclusive option is nice. The specialty restaurants on site do a great job but the buffet at lunch and dinner are just fair. The swim up pool bar is the best part of this resort.
We had the best service that we could have asked for. The concierge, Jorge, was extremely helpful and gave us all the information we needed. Anytime we would be poolside or at the beach, Gerardo, Willian, and Diego would never leave us without a drink in our hand. Our last night, we ate dinner at the Fish House and Danny did a tremendous job of accommodating us. Overall it was a great trip and we could not have asked for more.
DayPass from Virgin Voyage Cruise
We did a DayPass from resorts for a day. It was perfect. The checkin was 5 minutes. They gave us wrist bands. The resort wasn’t busy at all. The service was excellent. We spent most of the day at the pool but also enjoyed the beach. We rented Jetskis on the beach and they had options for other equipment. The beach was powered sand. Water was a bit brown close in but the beach was clean. The pool was great. Swim up bar. Enrique the bartender made our day. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He spoke several languages and just made our entire experience perfect. Enrique said he had been there for 17 years. He was very attentive to all there as was the rest of the staff. Bathrooms were clean. The resort was clean. It wes getting some face lifts in certain areas which it needs. Food was good. Personally I would skip the burger and snack bar and go to the food. It was good. Nothing too special but good and the service was again top notch. Very friendly people. We felt safe we felt appreciated and we enjoyed a great time. We were on a Virgin voyage cruise which comes into punta langosta port. This is the most north port and Melia is the most north resort about 10 minutes cab from the port and 10 dollars for up to 4 people. It was twenty for 6. Cabs each way were easy. Definitely worth the price of admission. Smaller facility but cozy and comfortable and great service. I can see how some say not enough chairs. At the pool they could use more as I can see if it’s busy there are not enough chairs and they had room for more. Thank you to the staff for doing a wonderful job and Thank you to Enrique for making it special. Hope to see you again in December.
