Well this place is amazing when you arrive the staff helps you . We had our digital key so we skipped check in line and went straight to our room . We had a room in the rainbow tower and had ocean front rm 2605 . Beds were comfortable and clean . Does need some updating and a microwave would be nice . We loved the elevator system the way you entered your floor number We ate all the restaurants on property and was so impressed and fireworks on Friday were nice

    Extra Charges make things disappointing

I loved the beds, and pillows. We were surprised by a few things. First checking in and being charged a $450US Resort fee. What the heck is a resort fee? And how come it's so much money? And why is it not disclosed when you book your holiday? That is a rip off in my opinion. Also so few lounge chairs around the pool. Never had an opportunity to sit by the pool in the 7 days we were there. Other than the little eating place had tables and chairs. And why is there a charge for chairs on the beach?

    Disgusting property, dangerous elevators.

This property is disgusting, even the “upgrade” rooms have dingy stained everything, even the headboard was a different shade between where the pillow rubbed off the years of filth. The Elevators, are how you get sick on vacation. Sick people everywhere and they all have to cram into the elevators 14 at a time because they take so long. A totally broken system. This property should torn down. Hilton should be ashamed

    Very Disappointed

As a Hilton Honors diamond members we found Hawaiian Village to be disappointing at best. The room we were provided and paid for was standard despite reserving an upgrade and our diamond status. Concierge service was nonexistent. Long lines for everything from check-in to elevators to pools/beach to restaurants etc. We were told many waited for over 2 hours in line just to check in. The focus of the staff was to drive additional revenue through excursions and Hilton’s vacation club membership. Our recommendation would be to consider alternatives if you are vacationing in Honolulu.

    Too crowded and expensive

It was so crowded everywhere, with lines for everything. Starbucks, 1/2 hour just to order. I guess this is a family place with lots of little children everywhere. We were three adults looking to chill. Everything super expensive. Walk down the beach a ways to get a deal on beach chairs and umbrella…1/3 the price. We felt the room price was reasonable but you pay for it by overpriced extras. $40. For 4 coffees with room service! Room and view nice.
