Very nice hotel with staff that takes care of you
Our family stayed five nights at the Marriott Resort Stellaris April 3-8. The staff at this property are very friendly and helpful. Jonathan, Daniella and Gilbert were especially helpful. We arrived early and figured that our room would not be ready for check in. Jonathan at reception was very helpful and gave us a card to show around the property showing that we were guests so we could get towels to use the pool and beach while we waited. We were celebrating our 18th anniversary and Jonathan arranged for a surprise welcome gift in our room which was very sweet and very appreciated. He also helped add our account number to our stay so we could earn points. The pool area is nice. They have daily happy hour for drinks including non alcoholic options for the kids (they loved the smoothies). It is hard to find chairs if you dont get to the pool super early. We always managed to find a couple when people were leaving. There is an app to reserve beach chairs under the palapas. You need to log on at exactly 8 a.m. both times I tried I couldnt get a reservation. But it said to check with the desk at 10 a.m. and they would reassign if there was a no show. We were able to get a palapa that way which was fine with us because we went to breakfast first. The hotel has several restaurants and a lobby bar and Star Bucks and is walking distance to several restaurants. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner all close to the hotel. We also took a cab to the mall area one night and after seeing how close it was (15 min) walked back and forth several more times for dinner and dessert. We also bought souvenirs there before leaving. The mall is a fun area with something for everyone. We rented a Jeep from Top Drive for two days. they picked us up at the hotel and it was a lot of fun having the jeep for the National Park and for beach hopping. On the morning of our departure our son woke with a fever and earache. I wanted to get him checked at urgent care to make sure he could fly. I was in line for a taxi and the security guard Gilbert was hailing cars for guests. When he learned we needed urgent care he radioed management and asked if he could drive us. He pulled around in a very nice SUV and kindly drove us straight to urgent care (10 mins away). He walked us in and explained the process and was waiting in line with me but I told him I was good and he could go. He told me to tell them to call when we were done and he would pick us up. We waited about an hour at urgent care, saw a lovely doctor who quickly prescribed what we needed and told check out to contact the hotel for us. The pharmacy was half a block down and Gilbert showed up there, again came in and explained how things worked, and then drove us back to the hotel in time for us to make our transfer to the airport. Gilbert was such a huge help. He was professional, friendly and took such great care of us. It was so nice of the Marriott to recognize we needed help to make the situation as stress free as possible. We felt very taken care of! We had a great stay : )

The Stellaris Staff is top notch!!
Every time we visit the Stellaris, we are treated to amazing service. The staff there is outstanding in every way. We especially appreciate Ludwig Croes and Sha-kima Arrindell. They are so friendly, fun, accommodating, and go above and beyond to make our stay memorable! We also love Nora and Martha at the gelato store. Nora is so kind and genuinely cares about how you're doing every time we see her. We get gelato every night now because we love to see them! And we are so grateful to all the women at Starbucks - Daniella, Isha, Gloria, Anna, Nelcy, Maria - They greet us with warm smiles every day and they remember our orders - we don't even have to tell them what we want. They even surprised me with a special gift on my birthday! And then there are the wonderful staff at Waves Bar and Grill who take such good care of us at the beach - always with a smile - Gabriel, Martin, Nelson, Adrian and Blanca. Amazing human beings!! We love the Stellaris and can't wait to go back in May!

Great with room for improvement
This is our second time at the Marriott Stellaris. We really enjoyed our stay. The palapa reservation system is no good. The system is not user friendly and according to how the beach assistants explained to us, the system only allows for one minute to make the reservation. You can’t even reserve the spot for the palapa. The system used to be better the first time we visited. However, this time around we did not like it at all and were unable to reserve a palapa using the system. One minute is just ridiculous… the food at mercat, at the lobby and at Atardi was really good. The beach was great. We hated that they close so early for food and drinks at the beach. Love the sunsets. We enjoyed the room service and appreciated cleanliness of the rooms. Pillows could be better.

Another Terrific Experience!
Returned for the sixth time to the Aruba Marriott Stellaris and had another terrific stay. We stayed in the Tradewinds floor and the room was nicely renovated - bright, clean and comfortable. The Tradewinds personnel truly added to our experience. Jackie, Jeanmarie, Gabriella and the entire team in the lounge were terrific. Jackie reached out to us in advance of our arrival which was a nice touch and remembered us from our previous visits. It was wonderful to see Sylvia at the towel hut at the Tradewinds section of the beach. She gave us a warm welcome and she and Enrique and Javier (both who also remembered us) and others took great care of us on the beach throughout our stay. Felt very much like a home away from home! 👍🙂
