Dec 02, 2024Relaxing and wonderful resort. Great for couples and families.
The Majestic Elegance was a fantastic resort for the family. Our trip was for a destination wedding and the entire facility and staff was wonderful. The restaurants and entertainment were great addition, keeping the entire family engaged and happy. Victor, at the Tiki Bar was a treasure with his charm, wit and personal service. The remaining staff was extremely attentive, polite and responsive.

Family vacation
What an amazing trip, the restaurants were great, the food was super, the service was OK, but the best part of all was the kids club. Man, I have three kids 8, 5, and three, and they did not want to leave the kids club. Diana and Alondra are just superb. They made art and crafts. They hung out, they went to the pool, they just had a super time. Thank you Diana and Alondra.

The hotel overall is good. I enjoyed my stay. The only downside was that there was on-site construction and I was not able to enjoy sitting outside and enjoy the my swim up pool that I paid for. The food was good especially at the different restaurants.

Five Star Vacation
My first trip ever at the age of 56 and we picked paradise to vacation at. We have had zero complaints. From the front desk check in to our daily encounters with the attentive staff. They have taken amazing care of us and our needs. Can’t thank the cleaning staff enough, especially Darky for keeping our room clean all week, and bar stocked. Misael, at the infinity pool swim up bar doesn’t disappoint with his skills as a bartender. Always friendly and happy to serve you. Eduardo, one of the best activity organizers at the infinity pool. He kept us entertained with activities such as aqua aerobics, a foam party with live DJ, floating games of blackjack and so much more. I can’t thank Isai enough for keeping the drinks flowing and making sure that a cabana was ready for me as I’m fair skinned and tend to burn easily. The live entertainment at night does not disappoint. From Michael Jackson and Queen Tributes to many live bands, such as the band at the Mexican Fiesta Dinner and show. Thank you Angie for taking the time to stop and chat with us then dancing for me in your beautiful dress so I could video tape you. Be sure to visit the bar at the Plaza Independecia and ask for Salvador aka Henry the bartender. He makes the best drinks and always remembers night after night what you’re drinking. And what can I say about the food? The restaurants have been over the top with both flavour and service. If you love steak, you will have to visit Don Jaume Steakhouse. We went three times during our stay and had Charly as our server. Talk about dinner and a show when you order the Picana with Garlic steak. Charley was such an amazing and attentive server. One of the evening he even had rose petals all over the table for us. The Italian Restaurant, Botaccio, was soooooo good! No shortage of choices on the menu that’s for sure. If you like Japanese food and want dinner and a show, Kabuki is where to go. Be sure to make reservations for the Habachi. If looking to just eat sushi, no reservations needed for that side of the restaurant. Every morning we would make our way to Flavors, the main buffet for breakfast. Our hostess, I wish I could remember her name as she made sure we had the same table each day, close to the buffet for easier access for our needs. So many varieties of food to choose from. I wish I could remember more staff members names as they all deserve a shout out. If your looking for a late night snack, McJestic fast food is open nightly from 6:00 p.m. until 2 a.m. The weather was perfect our entire trip which was from November 24 to December 1st. Going to hate to leave such an amazing resort and will definitely return here and to the beautiful country of Mexico!

Wish I could be there longer!
I want to take a moment to shout out some amazing individuals: Oliver, Jaime Rodriguez, and Katia! Their assistance was nothing short of remarkable. They went the extra mile to ensure everything ran seamlessly, and I truly appreciate their dedication. On another note, I couldn’t help but get excited about the new construction happening in the area! It sparked a brilliant idea—how about adding pickleball courts to the design? I know a lot of the guests would be super enthusiastic about the chance to play this fantastic and growing sport.
