Beautiful hotel very close to the beach. Excellent food in all restaurants. Seemed to have a great kids club although we did not use. The rooms were beautiful. The preferred club had their own pool which was nice but quiet. The main pool was beautiful and the staff is great. We will visit again

Myself and my friend have just returned from 3 nights at this hotel. We had mix opinions on certain aspects of our stay, however overall enjoyed our time at the resort. Positives- the beds and pillows are the comfiest I've ever had in a hotel, fell asleep instantly. The location is perfect.... very close to the main magaluf promenade and strip however also far enough to not hear a thing a night (about a 5-10 minute walk). Breakfast selection was good but maybe different cereals (sounds silly but there was not a vast range). We stayed mostly at the pool in the separate building away from main reception and we always managed to get a sun lounger at any time (can imagine this is not the case during school holidays). Check out time is at 12pm which is good. daily water in room was replenished daily. Cons- once we had got into our room after 3pm after housekeeping, I looked around and the toilet bin had not been emptied from the previous customers, leaving dirty wipes and tissues from other people in our bin. The staff were not as friendly as some of these reviews make out.... I was speaking to a member os staff at reception and she started ignoring me and speaking to another customer??? very random. They closed the main pool for a whole day without telling anyone why or when it would be open due to what they labelled as 'chemical issues'. THERE IS NO STRAWS, IF YOU WOULD LIKE SOME BRING YOUR OWN OR BUY FROM LOCAL SUPERMARKETS. the pools were ice cold... hardly anyone was getting in them as the water must not have been heated all summer, wasn't very nice. there were some broken tiles by one of the pool areas which could be dangerous however not completely awful. overall, I did enjoy my stay and I would return in the future however there is some small things the hotel could definitely improve on, however they would not stop me from returning.

The place is okay, shower has some mold, they messed up on accommodations. We got 3 rooms, my friend paid extra for a suite, but got a normal room that were the same as the other two. He was still charged for the sea side view suite with two beds. He got a small room with 1 bed. The staff is okay. Valeria at the Desires Lounge is 100% racist. I've always heard of Spainish people being racist, but I only encountered it at the bar just now. I was patiently waiting behind 2 Caucasians, while I was waiting there, they looked at me and saw me, one male (didn't see the name) and one lady (Valeria). The 2 Caucasians got their drinks, left. As they left a little Caucasian girl maybe 8 years or so, came in line behind me. Valeria doesn't even ask me for my order, she goes to the little girl after me and asks her what she wants. Really? Didn't see me? FFS. She ordered a soda, so I told her while she's getting that to grab me 2 sodas as well. I will never come back here.. and this is a HYATT property!! The level of service does not meet Hyatt standards. The whole place is majority Caucasians/European, myself and 2 friends are literally the ONLY ASIANS there.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Comfortable bed, the room was quite modern. Friendly and helpful staff . Food and drinks were excellent. Overall great atmosphere, I would definitely return to Dreams Calva! The beachfront was just a short walk away, many shops and restaurants to choose from.
