Dec 05, 2025Great resort grounds and customer service. Pools were cold. Unacceptable, line-ups for dinner service
Spent a week in late November. The negatives: Many tourists were unhappy about the long lines to get in a restaurant for dinner. All the regular pools were cold for this time of the year. The perception is that Hyatt chooses to care more about their bottom line than the comfort of the tourists. Also, Hyatt chooses to care more about the overall look of the resort rather than the comfort and luxury of the guests. This results in quite a few rules, that might impact (or not) the expected level of luxury. From limited coat hangers in the closet and insufficient towel hangers in the bathroom, to very limited number of power outlets to charge your devices, to no way to dry your swimsuits on the balcony, to extremely unfriendly TV remote control, to many elevators not working and/or being worked on... and the list goes on... The positives: great customer service. We were impressed in particular by the service offered by Dulce P. - absolutely exceptional. Many thanks for everything! Staff at restaurants (once you manage to get in), pool concierge, beach concierge, bars, club, etc. - all provided great service overall, with frequent stops at your beach chairs or restaurant table. Shout-out to Jose at the Italian restaurant. The food quality, the entertainment options, the overall aspect of the resort grounds - all on par with our expectations from a resort at this level.

The hotel and staff was absolutely amazing!! Great vibes and energy!!! My favorite part was literally all the secret and hidden scenes/spots to relax and enjoy the atmosphere as well as our room, Food was great as well!! Will definitely be staying at another Secrets Hotel property very clean and quiet. Thanks so much and shout out to Daniela for checking in on us throughout our trip!! A hidden gem!!

Jessica, Gabriella, Sergio, Christian & Miguel, Ari were awesome and we had a wonderful time with the staff playing beach volleyball, basketball, and water volleyball !

Activities are the best!!!!
Christian, Jessie, Gabriella, Sergio, Chris, Daniela, Aranza are amazing! They are the most interactive activities team I have seen at any resort! We did kayaking, dancing, volleyball, and so much more with them! They remembered us and made you feel like part of the family. The shows are so fun!! Food is delicious! Room is worth the spend! 10/10 recommend!

Amazing service!!
This was our second trip to Moxche and it was so much better than our first when they originally opened. The service was amazing and the food was very good. I have dietary restrictions that Gabriella and Janeth handled perfectly. I was able to dine at any restaurant and receive the food I needed. Great job ladies!! The resort has filled in beautifully and is so relaxing and enjoyable. We spent most days at the Observatory Pool and the view was gorgeous. Jacob, the pool attendant, was the best. He worked so hard to make sure we had shade and anything else we needed. All the restaurants we dined at were perfect. We would definitely return to this resort again.
