Hotel Spring Break Policies - Student Groups/Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property,
at their own expense. Parties in rooms are not permitted.

The staff are vert nice and energetic. Their events are very fun and the resort has multiple things to do other than the pool and beach. New years was so fun there, they have a big party and make everyone feel included. Have a variety of restaurants and they’re all buffet style.

Overall nice resort but clearly not a 5 star. Food quality and availability is good. Beach is great. Animation is very poor and staff is not always speak english or french. Very hard to understand even at front desk during check-in. Rooms are old and due for repairs.

Family Christmas trip
Overall, it was a good week spent here. No complaints on rooms or food. The booze was a little lower end than we were expecting for a Riu as we have stayed at a lot of Riu's over the years. You can always find room on beach and pool. You can always go grab your own coffee, hot chocolate, and expresso at any of the machines all around property. Sports bar always has snacks you can grab any time. Complaints: The kid show before the main show at night was very loud!! You couldn't even carrying on a conversation in lobby bar which was quit a bit away. Also, very loud music in adult pool that got overwhelming. It was hard to use app for some services and good for others. Some requests would come right away and some wouldn't come at all. The resort appearance outside could use some maintenance , but rooms were very clean and updated.

**Pleasantly Surprised at Riu Bambu!**
We stayed at the Riu Bambu from December 17-24, and after reading so many negative reviews, I was a bit nervous about what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised! **Check-in & Room** Check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles, and the bellboy was quick to assist with our luggage. Our room was a bit dated but spotless and fresh. The air conditioning worked wonders, and the shower was always hot with plenty of water – which was a huge bonus! I’m also thankful I brought a converter for my blowdryer, and the USB charger by the bedside was very convenient for charging our phones. **Staff & Service** The servers and bar staff were fantastic. A little respect goes a long way, and we were treated like royalty! It’s worth mentioning that tips are pooled and shared amongst all staff, which fosters a great team spirit. Everyone worked hard to ensure we had a memorable stay. **WiFi & Entertainment** The WiFi worked well throughout the resort and most of the beach. The entertainment crew really made our experience special. They went above and beyond to make my daughter and I feel welcome, even dragging us up onto the dance floor. We had a great time with the activities and loved how involved they made us feel. **Food** We stuck to the main buffet, so we can't comment on the specialty restaurants, but the buffet food was decent. No reservations are required, just show up and wait for an open table, which worked fine for us. **Beach & Activities** The beach was stunning, long, and beautiful. While there are plenty of vendors, a simple "no thank you" and they move along. We also enjoyed the beach volleyball that went on all day – great fun! **Room Amenities** Our room was always well-stocked with beer, water, and soda. A small tip kept the supply coming, and we were never without. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation at Riu Bambu. While it might not be perfect, it was more than enough for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday. I would definitely recommend this resort, especially if you're looking for a stress-free beach getaway!
