Beautiful Stay
The bed and pillows were amazing. Best sleep away from home I have experienced. The halls were quiet and I could block out the sun fully. By far the most festive spot in Vegas, I looked for a better Christmas display and nothing compared! The food was great and the staff very friendly.

Beautiful stay but very crowded
The hotel was beautiful. We had the fountain view room and it was a phenomenal view. We just had a hard time moving around in the casino and hotel area because there were just so many kids. We couldn’t enjoy seeing the conservatory during our stay because it was just so crowded with people and kids pushing around. All we could do was quickly walk through it and snap a couple of pictures to enjoy the view later. The best time to see it is at three in the morning because it’s less crowded.

Don’t go
This is what I wrote the hotel: Let me first say that I had been in the restaurant business for over 50 years. I used to come to Vegas every month since the early 80”s to eat at all the nice restaurants and “learn”. I retired in 2015 and before then I stayed at the Bellagio many, many times… actually since the opening in 1999… especially to eat at Olives”. Since I haven’t been here in a while... my wife and I thought we would try again. What a mistake. Since there were no non stops flights to Vegas from Santa Fe/Albuquerque we decided to drive. It took us 9 hours to get to Vegas hwy 15… but then another 1-1/2 hours to get from hwy 15 to the Bellagio. Nothing on your web or by email did you warn us about the race or football game. Or the construction outside the Bellagio because of the F1 race. You must have sent me 20 emails before our arrival… but nothing about what was important… what I would face when i got here!!! We could not turn into your hotel… dead STOP for 2 miles!!! The Bellagio was packed… Good for you. BUT we were tired and had to eat. Nothing was open Michael Mia… closed… coffee shop… closed… Noodles… GONE! Virtually every restaurant was closed. Finally went to the place with pastries. They were out of everything at 7 pm. Only 2 sandwiches behind the counter…. both with bacon (I won’t eat bacon). The guy at the counter just laughed and said he had been out of almost everything since 5 pm. And, what pastries they had… looked terrible. What is going on?… we saw restaurants everywhere almost all of them were closed! At 7 pm… after an 11 hour drive I didn’t want a sit down $300 meal. Finally we had to walk to Aria and found a sandwich. Then our room…WOW! My wife got up the next morning at 6 am to shower…while in the shower… NO HOT WATER. Then the alarm went off at about 6 am… something I never set or touched. Naturally I could not find the shut off button… so I had to find the plug and rip it from the wall. Naturally I was up at 6 am (a whole 6 hours of sleep) My first 24 hours in your hotel was terrible and never got better. I will never return. How does one eat at your hotel? Please let me know because I don’t see it. Plus in the 20 emails you sent before I got here why didn't you say… oh BTW the coffeeshop is closed when you arrive. The pastry place will have no sandwiches. The traffic will be bad because of a race or a football game. Oh there might be no casual restaurants open either. Oh BTW… Noodles is closed (GONE). Oh and there will be so many people don’t even think about walking through the lobby or casino. Oh yes, and I must mention your prices… everywhere! The hotel room was nice and reasonably priced. But your restaurant prices were so outrageous (those that were actually open). $90 for 2 breakfast entrées, and one cup of coffee. Then if you want to eat in anywhere that has a sit-down dinner plan on $150 to $200 a person. Please, I still know prices… and food cost has not gone up that much to deserve those kind of prices And also let me comment on your gambling options. Through financial news I know that your gambling revenue is down. I completely understand why and you should too. Your minimum bets are so high nobody gambles. Maybe on the weekend (or special events)… but not during the week. Your table games, slot machines, etc. were empty. The only people in your hotel were the thousands crowding the lobby and the hallways… and they were not gambling. The Bellagio has turned into a terrible hotel and someone needs to look at arriving at the Bellagio as a customer. Arriving at the hotel exhausted and who needs to eat a casual meal. You should warn people that if you want to eat a casual meal… you will have to walk 2 miles to another hotel. Oh and BTW you won’t see the fountain because there is a structure blocking your view. I will never return to the Bellagio and will make sure to let everyone I know how bad of experience we had. Also, I have to mention that I wrote a complaint letter to the Bellagio within the first 24 hours of my stay. I received a reply email saying "thanks for your question, we will get back to you soon". But we never heard a response, apology….nothing. Las Vegas is out of control. If I ever do go back, I will definitely stay somewhere else (Encore, etc. any place but an MGM property). What a terrible way to spend a few days before Thanksgiving.

Bellagio always hits the mark.
While Bellagio was as usual amazing, they really need to bring in new restaurants and create a high-end food court. The location is central and has a lot of foot access to all the other casinos nearby. I still believe the casino and bars are fantastic but I do not agree with their pricing of rooms and meals.
