Sunscape is just okay
The beach at the resort is beautiful and great for snorkeling. The staff throughout the resort were helpful and friendly! The rooms and resort itself are very outdated (needs major updating). The air conditioning didn’t work in our room but we moved to a different room second day where the air conditioning worked great. The only restaurant we felt had good food was the italian restaurant, the other restaurants didn’t have good food. The buffet was decent but could have more options and would be nice if it was larger. Need some fans and more ventilation in the buffet, it was stuffy and hot. If I go back to Curaçao I will stay somewhere else.

Fun, water and sun!
Great/amazing place for a scuba diving experience! Curacao is know for its diving, at least by scuba divers it is. The diving in front of the hotel was a great time. So many fish to see and so easy to do. The onsite dive shop caters to all your needs. Even if you just want to snorkel

Beach is beautiful, everything else is not
If you are only interested in a nice beach then this place is ok. But everything else is not OK. I do not recommend it for an overall great vacation location. It's, at best, a 3 star property. It is not up to par with other Hyatt properties. It was very disappointing. The property needs lots of maintenance.

Diving was amazing. Sunscape resort was awful 😖
The room air conditioning was broken for our entire stay despite multiple assurances it was being fixed. We were not given the option to change rooms. The buffet food was inedible. The other restaurants were ok though. The diving was incredible and the best part of our trip. Would come back to Curacao to dive would never stay at this resort again.

Don't Stay Here!
Just got back from what I thought would be a great milestone birthday trip. Boy was I wrong! A/c in the room didn't work so they gave us an oscillating fan. Mini fridge is room temperature and only contained 3 bottles of water and 2 cans of soda. The linen on the bed is full tiny lint balls that make you think the bed is full of sand because it feels gritty. Food is beyond tasteless and will make your stomach sick. Drinks have no alcohol. Don't bother to upgrade to sun Club room because there is no difference. Staff is very dry & blah with the exception of Stephanie (Sun Club). The casino is very outdated. The beach is the nicest part of the hotel. The towel shed closes from 12-1pm every day and at 5pm for the night so you have to hold on to your dirty towels in your room until the next day. Bring water shoes if you want to go out into the ocean because it's extremely rocky. I'd give this hotel 1 star and that is because of it's proximity to Mood beach which is a 3 minute walk. It needs an entire overhaul!
