1 Star is a gift!!!
Okay so I own my mistake, but JOIA Bavaro is taking advantage of the situation. Expedia’s default search is 1 room 1 guest. Now I recognize that an all-inclusive needs to charge more for a second guest and my failure to reserve the room with two guests should have some additional charge. However, if booked online, the increment cost is approximately $100 a day for the second person. The optimist thieves at JOIA Bavoro wanted to charge me over $700 extra per day for the second person (per their standard policy). The front desk folks were nice, clearly embarrassed by the situation- but did not have any ability to do anything more. I’m appalled that after much back and forth- they landed on a great “discount” of only $2700 extra for our 5 day stay. As a recent retiree- this hurts S. Gamble

Amazing service!!!!
The staff was amazing! Our butler Jose and Victor were there for our every request! Very friendly always happy to help in anyway they can. The pool staff also exceptional ! Camilo and staff decorated a cabana for my wife’s birthday surprise, Julianna was so sweet and friendly, very easy to relax and enjoy our time there. We highly recommend this place

Great
I had a great one week trip there It was very nice to have little rest and relax summing and the room was amazing The food was not very special. The people the very Findlay my boyfriend he love it there for the first time to visit it was great experience

Honeymoon
We went on our Honeymoon trip to this resort and it was so amazing. The food,the music,the vibe,staff especially our concierge Kadian went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back next year.
