Exceeded expectations
This resort is magnificent and very well maintained and the beach and sea are spectacular . The staff is excellent, courteous, all smiles and always making sure you’re fully satisfied during the full length of your stay. The hotel, rooms and all facilities are spotless. Numerous cabanas and chairs are available in the pool area and there is always chairs with umbrellas you can use on the beach. The various restaurants and buffet options are great and the liquor available at the bar is top quality. My wife and I loved it so much that we already booked for next year. Definitely recommend.

Jose and Houston were so attentive and caring and always wanting to give us an an incredible time. We were so thankful for the drive to town because our glasses were broken. It was a hotel driver that took us and unexpected. From decorating our room romantically, to our favourite alcohol in our room and to the massages provided because we were forced to move rooms, we were truly thankful. We will definitely come back. Thanks for an amazing and relaxing vacation.

Beautiful,smaller adults only resort
We had a very good experience with the resort.People were very friendly and attentive, especially Garcia from reception, Houston Salvador the butler and Altagracia from the buffet. Even though the hotel is 17 years old is very clean and well maintained.The rooms are comfortable.There is something for everyone, you can find a relaxing spots or you can participate in dance classes shows etc….The beach is nice and walkable long distance.

A Perfect Vacation — We’ll Keep Coming Back!
This was our third visit to this resort, and each time has been absolutely wonderful! Our butlers, Jose and Houston, were incredibly attentive and ensured that all of our needs were met throughout our stay. From the daily massages to the amazing entertainment crew—Dai, Snoop Dogg, Chocolate, and Black Mambo—this vacation was exactly what we needed. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Joia Iberostar Bavaro for making our stay so memorable.
