May 22, 20251 Week at Bahia Principe - Luxury Ambar (adults only)
Great facility. Rooms and restaurants were very clean and organized. Food was very good, and it had a lot of varieties to choose from. Service was good. Friendly staff throughout the resort. Lots of good drinks. Only complaint was that for Privilege Club members, there were not enough seats/chairs on the beach and waiter service was not very frequent.

Excellent hotel, brilliant service and lovely surroundings
We stayed for 2 weeks in May 2025. We had a swim up room and it was so lovely the pool and the room were beautiful and so well maintained by the housekeeping staff who were always friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The spa at Ambar is amazing - relaxing, welcoming and soothing. Particularly Anita who is really lovely and excellent at her job. She massaged the pain out of my back and I’m so grateful to her! The food was really nice with a good selection. We particularly enjoyed the MEAT restaurant and the Caixu Rodizio restaurant. The food, cocktails and service were amazing, and the settings are beautiful. The beach is beautiful and I cannot praise the beach staff enough. They work so hard all day to keep the beach in pristine condition, so tidy and clean. They help all the guests find sun loungers and are very friendly. I loved the sea, turquoise and calm. The entertainment was first class, I loved the beach concerts, discos, beach parties and daily activities. Well organised, and such a lot of effort goes into the food, drink and decoration set up for these occasions. The concierge was very helpful when we found a leak in our room one evening doing everything he could to resolve it quickly and efficiently, keeping us informed and offering as much hep as possible. Well done!

Enjoying Entertainment at Bahía Príncipe Luxury Ambar
I want to give a shout out to the Entertainment staff especially Ronaldo, Maelito, Mauro, Nirobi and Maicco for making my stay both enjoyable and memorable. They welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family. The games at the beach and pool were fun and everyone from the participants to the spectators enjoyed every second. Equally as entertaining were the iron man competitions and foam party games. The entertainment at night was just was wonderful from their many shows to white party and live music and there’s always dancing. The staff do an amazing job and these five are excellent! They will not disappoint. It’s one of the best resorts I’ve been to in a while!

Absolutely beautiful
Staff and resort itself was top notch. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. I stayed in a swim out room and was worth the money. Most of the food at the resort was very good with only a few misses. The only downside was the mosquitoes and the smoking.

May 20, 2025Warning at the Palmyra buffet.
May 2025, we just left. Entertainment has been lacking from prior years. If you stay in Ambar, you are restricted in the app to see only the entertainment on the schedule for Ambar. Finding the activities in the other resorts was almost impossible, unless we took time to drive to each location. This is one of the issues makeing it less than desirable to return. Main Ambar restaurant, Palmyra. Be careful at the buffet cooking station during lunch, this is where you choose the shrimp and fish shrimp, and the chef cooks it in front of you. Some chefs use the tongs for raw food, and the flat spatula for the cooked food, this is a safe way to avoid getting some one sick. WARNING......Too often the chefs tried using the tongs for raw food to serve the cooked food. I stopped them a 3 times.
