Heartbreaking
I hope everyone will read this. I am twice married Dad of a 6 yr old girl, 24 year old boy, and 26 year old girl. You can imagine the complexities in my life, as many have experienced. I chose Dreams Tulum all inclusive for 4 rooms (couples and parents). This is over $14k. Our room was a preferred room which gave us access to a concierge. On day 1, I got to know Rafael. I explained how my son and daughter’s boyfriend both had birthdays the week prior. My wife and I were celebrating our 9 year anniversary ON Thanksgiving and how I wanted them all to have the greatest vacation ever. Raphael connected us with a private tour the day after my adult kids and their +1’s and parents arrived. It was absolutely amazing. We did the ruins. We did the cenotes. We did everything. At the end of the night my 26 year old daughter texted me, “dad that was the best time I’ve ever had in my life”. Raphael made sure both rooms were decorated to commensurate their birthday. He made sure my wife felt the love on our anniversary. He was everything you could ask for on a vacation. As we returned today, my kids and their partners texted me how grateful they were. Unequivocally stated “best time of their life”. I owed Dreams a review. I was prepared to go all in. $18k of my money gone and Dream had made it all worth it. But then I get a text from Raphael. They fired him. All because he listened to our needs and what I needed for my family. My tip at the end made them curious about his work to take care of us and expose the “connections” of their in-house tour company. I don’t care where we are in the world. The best workers are those that see a need and fill it. The truth is. This is a ONE star rating. I gave a company $18,000 and they threw it in my face. But I figured, given their immaturity in this situation, they overlook one stars. So here is 3 stars hoping someone from @hyatt will actually read. What a travesty. No doubt that is an American or European actually behind it. Because otherwise, I found the Mexican people the most dynamic of us all. At the end of the day, my relationship with my wife and kids is better. And we all had the time of our lives. And Hyatt Dreams Tulum pocketed $18k. And Rafael was fired. Like so many other things, it’s wrong. Don’t stay here. Don’t ever stay here.

Honeymooning at Dream Tulum Resort
My husband and I had our honeymoon at Dreams. The entertainment was great! Alex was a fun guy! He was so nice and helpful. All the resort staff were very nice. Food could have been way better. The only restaurant we really liked was Seaside Grill. Overall, enjoyed our stay at the resort.

Entertainment for the family!
We had a great experience at the resort. What we really loved was the atmosphere and the entertainment. Alex, one of the entertainers along with his compatriots kept us thoroughly entertained. The staff were very hospitable and ready to oblige. My only request would be to improve the food as it didn't meet our standards.

Nice vibe at Dreams Tulum
The beach is in my opinion the best part of this hotel. The staff are all great people including Alex. Thy sky bar of an evening is a good place to go for a few drinks with music. The Italian restaurant Portofino was my favourite. Food and service was very good.

Dreams tulum
Alex is pure and he’s a top bloke. Food was average. Maria cipari was fantastic. The show was nice. The beach was nice. The volleyball was fun, the tequila was great and the weather was good. The rooms were very adequate. I had great stay. Will recommend to friends.
