To be clear I stayed at this hotel in August of 2023 not October of 2023. The place I truly wanted to stay was all booked up and so I opted for this hotel. My apologies with the delayed review. This property is absolutely beautiful. The lobby/welcome area is very airy and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms were very clean and comfy. The bathroom setup was also very nice. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a most wonderful and pleasant experience. A very special thanks to Yoann, the legend they call ‘Justin-Time’, Delano, and Keshim. The only issue(s) I had with this place was with the restaurants. I try and follow a vegan/plant based lifestyle as much as possible and the options they did offer at times they didn’t have all the components. For example, they had no avocado and if all you’re eating is a salad then the avocado is a VERY key component and the one that will provide the most calories and therefore, keep you feeling full for a bit longer. I went to one of the restaurants on the property and I was informed by my server after I had requested the vegan dinner option that I had to provide a 24 hour notice in order to have that so needless to say no vegan pre fix dinner for me that night. This is something that should be made very clear upon check-in. I had clearly stated during the many emails sent back and forth PRIOR to my arrival about my dietary preferences so I am definitely not sure why this information was not communicated to me at that time. I was frustrated on quite a few occasions for the lack of options and then the options that they did have were either NOT available or missing a key component. After the experience I had here (and other places), I made myself a promise that when vacationing I will only go to places that are either entirely vegan or VERY vegan friendly. If you have no standards for what you consume then by all means you will LOVE this place. If you are plant based/vegan then definitely contact the hotel prior to booking your reservation and make sure they will have food that you can eat and would want to eat. And if you will need to provide them an advance notice of which menu you will be selecting. Again, it has been over a year since my initial stay so perhaps they have improved in this sector. Again, the staff really did go above and beyond to make sure we were truly satisfied. However, the vegan options along with the availability of the ingredients left me frustrated at times.

Everything about this hotel is top notch. The beach is simply breathtaking, the restaurants (of which there are 4 provided a variety that were quite impressive). We loved sitting feet in sand during the day for lunch and fine dining at one of the three wonderful options in the evening. The golf cart to assist us around the hotel was a nice touch and we found the butler service to be warm and accommodating. We will undoubtedly be back and can attest that this hotel lives up to the Belmond name.

Almost perfect !
Definitely the best location on the island with the best beach that you can just walk out of your room to be on the pure white sand. A sense of luxury prevails yet understated with a great new manager who plays an active roll and our room had a butler who was there to help with anything we needed. The staff are amazing here- we loved it! The only negative unfortunately here is the food - not up to the standard of the hotel for sure- very hit or miss - if they could get their cuisine up to par this would be perfect- we hired a jeep and ate at very casual local dining spots all over island where food was prepared with love and that was the way to go! The beach can be windy but you have your own private chairs on the beach infront of your villa with excellent service all day to keep the cocktails coming and the sand is pure white with amazing turquoise water.

Amazing
From day 1 I reach at Cap Juluca for my 1st time ever, Yoann at the lobby welcomed us with open hands and made us feel like we was home. My host Maury made sure that we was good and, he is the best host!!!!Breakfast was ok, Yakeenie made us felt good and she make sure check up on us…..lunch at cap shake was amazing, the team over there is truly amazing, they made us feel like we was family….oh don’t forget the get music they had playing there…it had us didn’t want to leave…love them over there!!!Dinner at Uchu was amazing!!! Had a little problem choosing from the menu but Joann came and proposed some dishes to us and trust me she had pick the right ones because wow they was amazing. The guys at the pool made us feel like we was brothers (especially the one with the locks) and they made sure our time at the pool was well spend. Dinner at Pimm’s, oh my god the food there was amazing and also the team as well. The hold staff at Cap Juluca was amazing and we love them. Last but not least Big thank to their new GM Eleonore, she made sure our stay was amazing, she’s a amazing and loving person!!! See you all soon Cap Juluca!!!
