Part A – Cancellation For Any Reason/Change Waiver and Other Non-Insurance Services

Provided by United Vacations
  • Cancellation for Any Reason Waiver:
    You may cancel or change your vacation for any reason prior to departure and receive a full refund for your vacation, including non-refundable airfares booked through United Vacations. Your refund is made in the original form of payment. The protection provided by Part A is not transferable or refundable.
  • Price guarantee (provided by United Vacations):
    Guarantees the lowest price on the vacation booking! If the price of the hotel on your United Vacations package drops after booking the reservation, just let us know and we’ll adjust the reservation to the lowest price.
    • Price guarantee not available on groups booked through our group department.
    • The price guarantee applies to Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii and Central America vacations.
    • If the price does decrease on your United Vacations package, please contact your travel agent or United Vacations at 888-854-3899.
    • The price adjustment must be made to the reservation while the lower United Vacations rate is available in the United Vacation’s system.
  • Reduced Deposit (provided by United Vacations):
    Enjoy a reduced deposit to secure your vacation package. Land only packages require no deposit. The deposit for air only and air-inclusive packages with charter or value flight air is $50 per person. The deposit for air-inclusive packages with scheduled air is $100 per person.
    • Valid when booking 49 days or less prior to departure.
  • No revision fees (provided by United Vacations):
    Need to make a change? Any revision fees for the first instance are automatically waived including hotel, airline, and any United Vacations penalties, so you won't be charged additional fees to make a change to your reservation.
    • If you need to revise any portion of your vacation prior to departure date, revision fees will be waived for the first revision instance.
    • Any additional fees incurred from changes made to your vacation after the first revision are not waived.
  • Additional notes:
    Please contact the United Vacations reservation department directly at 888-854-3899 if you need assistance to cancel your reservation. All cancellations must be confirmed by United Vacations' reservations department prior to departure.
    • Refunds for cancellation will come from United Vacations.
    • United Vacations must be notified of the cancellation prior to airport check-in in order to be eligible for a refund. Contact your travel agent or United Vacations at 888-854-3899.
    • Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment.
    • The following items are not covered under the Cancel for Any Reason Waiver:
      • No show situations where the traveler does not check in.
      • Where the traveler is denied boarding under any situation.
      • Air not purchased from United Vacations.
      • If the number of individuals occupying a room decreases, the remaining travelers will be responsible for additional costs incurred as a result of a change in the per-person occupancy rate.
  • Once the cancellation is made prior to travel, a written request must be submitted to:

Part B - Schedule of Insurance Benefits

(Underwritten by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company)
  • Trip Interruption:
    Reimburses (up to the total trip cost) unused hotel arrangements plus additional costs to change or purchase a new airline ticket if you can't travel due to circumstances such as illness or injury to you, a family member, or traveling companion, jury duty, subpoena, or a traffic accident on the way to the airport.
  • Missed Connection:
    Provides a reimbursement up to $500 for the prepaid nonrefundable Trip Payments for the unused portions of your tour, the additional transportation costs to join your departed tour, and any reasonable accommodation and meal expenses, if your arrival at the Trip destination is delayed for 3 hours or more for a covered reason.
  • Trip Delay:
    Reimburses (up to $500) additional Expenses incurred when you are delayed 6 hours or more due to a defined Hazard, for instance, inclement weather, common carrier delays, etc.
  • Emergency Evacuation:
    Pre-pays up to $75,000 for the cost of emergency medical transportation if a serious illness or injury occurs during your vacation that requires medical evacuation.
  • Medical Expense:
    Provides Medical Expense benefits for a covered Sickness or Injury incurred while on your Trip up to $50,000 plus emergency dental coverage up to $750.
  • Baggage/Personal Property:
    Reimburses you up to $1,000 for baggage or items lost, stolen, or damaged during your vacation.
  • Baggage Delay:
    Reimburses for the purchase of necessary personal items if your bags are delayed by the airline for 8 hours or longer. The plan covers you for the purchase of necessary items up to $300 in the event your luggage is delayed by an air common carrier for more than 8 hours en route to your vacation.
  • Travel Accident:
    Accidental death and dismemberment coverage up to $10,000 in the event of loss of life or limb while flying.

How to purchase Premier Vacation Protection:
While you are building your vacation, you can select Premier Vacation Protection from the add-ons menu under Travel Protection. You may also add it during the first step of your check-out process in the Travel Protection section.

Terms and conditions:
Travel Protection is not in effect until the plan cost has been received by United Vacations in addition to any trip deposits due.
