You’ll find Flint, Michigan an hour northwest of Detroit and similarly close to Lansing and Ann Arbor. As the birthplace of the American auto industry, much of the city’s rich history can be viewed at the Alfred P. Sloan Science Museum and the Sloan Museum’s Buick Automotive Gallery, showcasing decades of classic and concept cars. To add some variety to your transportation, take a cruise on the Genesee Belle Paddlewheel riverboat or walk downtown’s classic brick streets.
