Dayton, Ohio, is famous for being the birthplace of aviation, and is filled with locations of interest to flight enthusiasts and historians. As the city where the Wright Brothers lived and perfected their airplane design, Dayton is home to the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, which encompasses the Wright family mansion, the brothers’ workshop, and Huffman Prairie Flying Field.
